The ELI-FaNS project enabled farmer-led research on a local post-harvest management innovation in Northeast Gonja District of Ghana, involving the use of powder from the root of the local plant paliga (Securidaca longepedunculata) to reduce losses from insect attacks.

Le projet ELI-FaNS a permis de conduire une recherche dirigée par les paysans concernant l’innovation locale de gestion post-récolte dans le district de Northeast Gonja au Ghana, notamment l’utilisation de la poudre de la racine de paliga (Securidaca longepedunculata) pour la réduction des pertes dues aux attaques des insectes.
