En octobre 2020, le deuxième atelier sur le développement participatif d’innovation (DPI) s’est tenu virtuellement, comme le premier, en raison de la situation de COVID-19. C’était dans le cadre du projet “Renforcement de capacités des enseignants des lycées agricoles pour soutenir l’entrepreneuriat social basé sur l’innovation locale pour la sécurité alimentaire et nutritionnelle“, financé par le Programme Orange Knowledge de Nuffic.
Le projet est porté par la Faculté d’Agronomie de l’Université de Parakou et appuyé par les partenaires du réseau international Prolinnova, à savoir Djibril Thiam de l’ONG AgriBioServices (Sénégal) et Chesha Wettasinha, membre de l’équipe internationale d’appui, de l’Institut Royal des Tropiques (KIT, Pays-Bas).
Cet atelier a rassemblé 18 stagiaires (7 femmes et 11 hommes) des lycées agricoles de Kika et Ina et de l’université de Parakou. Il a permis aux participants de présenter les résultats de leurs missions individuelles du premier atelier, qui consistaient à identifier et documenter les innovations locales. Second PID training in Benin
In October 2020, the second training in participatory innovation development (PID) was held virtually, like the first one, because of the COVID-19 situation. It was in the context of the project “Capacity building of agricultural high school teachers to support social entrepreneurship based on local innovation for food and nutrition security”, funded through Nuffic’s Orange Knowledge Programme.
The project is led by the Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Parakou and supported by partners in the Prolinnova international network, namely Djibril Thiam from the NGO AgriBioServices (Senegal) and the International Support Team member Chesha Wettasinha from the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT, Netherlands).
This workshop brought together 18 trainees (7 women and 11 men) from the Agricultural High Schools of Kika and Ina and the University of Parakou. It provided an opportunity for participants to present the results of their individual assignments from the first workshop: identifying and documenting local innovations.
