Oliver Oliveros – who helped Prolinnova emerge over 20 years ago as a Global Partnership Programme of the GFAR (Global Forum on Agricultural Research) and who is a Friend of Prolinnova – has just been appointed Interim Executive Director of the Global Alliance for the Future of Food (GAFF).
Oliver and his family had moved to Nairobi when he worked as Engagement Lead of the United Nations Food Systems Summit, after having been Deputy Director, Partnerships and International Relations at Agropolis Fondation in Montpellier, but now they will be moving back to Rome.
In 2004–08, Oliver was the Global Coordinator of the DURAS Project, under which the Local Innovation Support Fund/Facility (LISF) was initially piloted by several Country Platforms in the Prolinnova network.
