Farmer Access to Innovation Resources: experiences with piloting Local Innovation Support Funds in Uganda

Farmer Access to Innovation Resources: experiences with piloting Local Innovation Support Funds in Uganda is a report by Prolinnova-Uganda on a 3-year pilot under the Farmer Access to Innovation Resources (FAIR) project funded by Rockefeller Foundation. It looks at the structure of FAIR in Uganda, the functioning of LISFs in the Ugandan context, M&E of the pilot and challenges faced in establishing and running innovation funds at local level. The report describes some steps toward institutionalising the LISF and gives some recommendations for ensuring its sustainability.
