Prolinnova Uganda, hosted by Environmental Alert, participated in the 15th Annual Indigenous and Traditional Food and Seed Fair organised by PELUM Uganda. The event, held from 30–31 October 2025, provided a strategic platform to showcase farmer-led innovation and celebrate Uganda’s rich Indigenous food systems. Through support from the Agroecology Fund/Global Green Grants Fund/East Africa Regional Fund (EARF), Prolinnova Uganda facilitated the participation of farmer innovators. It contributed to a dedicated side event on farmer-led innovation. This engagement highlighted the importance of local knowledge, participatory innovation development, and the central role of farmers—especially women and youth—in driving sustainable, climate-resilient food systems.
