In 2015–16, a small team from the Prolinnova Oversight Group (POG), Country Platforms (CPs) and the International Support Team (IST) facilitated discussion within the network on the future direction and activities of Prolinnova (Promoting Local Innovation in ecologically oriented agriculture and natural resource management). On the basis of these discussions, it drafted the Prolinnova strategy for 2016–20:
