An expert consultation on agri-food innovation in Asia and the Pacific was held on 1-3 November 2016 in Taiwan, jointly organised by the Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutes (APAARI) with other international organisations. The meeting emphasised the need to involve farming communities in innovation processes with scientists. Suman Manandhar was invited to present lessons from Prolinnova-Nepal’s experiences in facilitating multistakeholder partnerships to support farmer innovation in agriculture and food.
