Prolinnova contributed a feature article on small-scale farmer innovation for sustainable agriculture to the December 2016 edition of Palawija Forum, published by the Centre for Alleviation of Poverty through Sustainable Agriculture (CAPSA) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). The article discusses the importance and advantages of participatory innovation development as an approach to combine local knowledge and creativity with scientific knowledge as a means of developing site-appropriate and sustainable ways of improving small-scale agriculture and rural people’s livelihoods.
