On behalf of Prolinnova, Jean Bosco Etoa (Prolinnova-Cameroon) attended the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS) annual meeting on 3-6 October 2016 in Limbe, Cameroon, on the role of rural advisory services in inclusive agripreneurship.
A Prolinnova stand was set up, in which various materials were distributed to the participants, such as the FIPAO 2015 (West Africa Farmer Innovation Fair) brochures, as well as policy briefs and training manuals on PID. A blog by Prolinnova-Cameroon was published on the GFRAS website, and Jean Bosco was asked to give a brief presentation at the event. There were numerous possibilities to join various workshops at the event, including a workshop on FAO’s gender and rural advisory services assessment tool (GRAST). The blog, presentation and distribution of Prolinnova materials enabled outreach to people who were not familiar with the Prolinnova approach.
