The project “Promoting Local Innovation in Water Management in Family Farming in the Sahel (Proli-GEAFaSa), 2020–22” was implemented in two of Prolinnova’s Country Platforms (CPs) – Burkina Faso and Senegal – with funding from Misereor. The objective was to build on local knowledge and the endogenous development of practices and technologies of Sahelian family farmers to contribute to better agricultural water management in order to better respond to the challenges of the increasing vulnerability of rural communities to climate change and other emerging issues. The final evaluation of the project assessed the level of achievement of the project results, with reference to the objectives, and the effects on the livelihood conditions and livelihoods of the beneficiaries.
