Lisa Williams van Dijk new POG co-chair

As of 1 June 2020, Lisa Williams van Dijk has replaced Pratap Shrestha as co-chair of the Prolinnova Oversight Group (POG), after Pratap retired from the POG.

Lisa is head of Knowledge Exchange & Research Support at the Royal Agricultural University in the UK and is involved in the European Union Horizon 2020 LIAISON project through the University of Exeter. She has long experience in working with farmers in community-driven approaches, particularly to improve animal health and husbandry practices. She founded and coordinates the Farmer-Led Innovation Network (FLIN), a community of practice involving organisations that support farmer-led innovation and research and that seek to strengthen the resilience of UK farmers to manage change. FLIN was recently accepted as the Prolinnova-UK Country Platform. Lisa is based in Cirencester, UK.

In the POG, Lisa shares responsibilities with Chris Macoloo, who has served as co-chair for already more than four years and has agreed to serve for an additional year to provide continuity while Lisa “learns the ropes”. Chris is the Regional Associate Vice President for Africa at World Neighbors, and is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
