Farmer Access to Innovation Resources (FAIR) 2 in South Africa: findings and lessons learnt
Prolinnova South Africa was one of the seven countries that piloted local innovation support funds (LISFs) under the Farmer Access to Innovation Resources (FAIR) project supported by the Rockefeller Foundation. The report Farmer Access to Innovation Resources (FAIR) 2 in South Africa: findings and lessons learnt captures some of the key experiences and lessons of the pilot. It discusses some of the challenges of operationalising innovation funds at community level and provides several recommendations for ensuring that the LISFs are sustained and further strengthened.
