PROFEIS-Senegal, coordinated by Agrecol Afrique, is a partner in the Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) programme in West Africa. Together with the Senegalese Institute for Agricultural Research (ISRA), they hosted a group visiting from Colombia, South America, in early September 2013 to the Kaffrine learning site of CCAFS. The role of PROFEIS-Senegal in the collaboration with CCAFS is to help strengthen capacities of rural women to diversify their sources of income in the context of climate change.
